What kind of tree is it?
All of our gift trees are evergreens. Since trees need to be planted outside, it is important to choose the right tree for the right growing zone. We will select the best tree type based on the growing zone the tree is shipped to. To preview the available trees we offer, visit our Tree Types page. If you have a preference, you can request a specific tree type in the checkout, otherwise, worry not, we’ll select the perfect tree!
Please keep in mind that trees go through seasonal changes, so not all the trees look the same way all year long. Also, exact size and shape will vary, because just like us, each tree is unique!
Our gift trees are shipped nationwide.

All of our gift trees arrive in a burlap or linen sack or in a 4.5” decorative pot. We offer multiple size and packaging options (see below for more detail).

• Comes in a 3x5” drawstring sack of your choice (burlap or cotton linen).
• Approximately 9-12” tall (heights will vary depending on the time of year and the type of tree).

Our Little Saps can be planted in a container any time during the year or in the ground in the spring, summer, or fall. To survive, all of our trees must be planted or kept outside - they are not indoor plants! To learn more about planting and care instructions, visit our Care page.

Our trees are shipped nationwide. To ensure a fresh product, we only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. All seedlings are shipped from North Carolina via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Depending on the destination, it typically takes 2-5 business days to arrive, however, shipping has been unpredictable lately. Currently, UPS and USPS are not guaranteeing delivery dates for UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. If you need your Little Sap to arrive by a certain date, please consider the Rush/Express option. Rush/Express shipping means that we will ship your order via UPS 2nd Day Air. Read more about our shipping terms and conditions. Little Saps are packaged to order, so please allow 1-2 days for us to lovingly package your gift tree and put together your personalized gift.
